Special Areas of Expertise

As an Actuarial Assistant with EFI Actuaries since 1991, Ms. Fredrickson prepares client data for actuarial valuations, calculates benefits, projects benefits, and prepares participant benefit statements.  She also drafts preliminary valuations for review, completes government filings, and works on various special projects for the actuaries.

As a Pension Specialist with the Esterline Corporation, September 1988 to October 1991, Ms. Fredrickson assisted in merging seven retirement plans and consolidating seven 401(k) plans.  This entailed drafting the plan documents and preparing government filings for IRS approval.  Once the merger and consolidation were complete she set up the databases and programs used to administer the new plans.  Ms. Fredrickson then administered the plans by calculating benefits, preparing benefit statements, approving loan and hardship applications, making bimonthly salary deferral deposits, completing quarterly allocations and biannual reallocations, and complying with government regulations.

As an Actuarial Assistant with William M. Mercer, Inc., March 1986 to June 1988, Ms. Fredrickson prepared client data for actuarial valuations, calculated benefits as well as plan year gains and losses, drafted preliminary valuations for review, completed government filings, and worked on various special projects for the actuaries.
